Brown Consulting Engineers is a Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Land Planning Firm. Founded in 2003 by Marc Brown PE, PLS. The firm recently partnered with Kelly Schmutz of KRS Land Surveying to better meet the needs of our growing survey department.
Brown Consulting Engineers has a strong background in Land Planning and Municipal Planning. Our firm has extensive experience relevant to providing City Engineering services. Mr. Brown worked in a City Engineer capacity in Colorado City, Arizona, Cedar City and Parowan, Utah and Mesquite, Nevada. Working with private and City agencies has made BCE very familiar with the challenges and issues involved in dealing with public and with the various City, State and Federal agencies. Mr. Brown has worked as Project Engineer on many Special improvement Districts for Cities and Counties throughout the tri-state area, including Cedar City and St. George, Utah and Colorado, and Mohave County, Arizona. Federal Highway projects include North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, By Pass Road Lake Mead, Callville Bay. Municipal Projects include Crystal Creek to Kolob Reservoir pipeline project, and various City trails, parks and street projects. Private Developments include Entrada at Snow Canyon, Executive Plaza, Sunset Plaza, the Southgate Area in St. George and Panguitch Lake Resort.
